Absolutely fucking brilliant quote. I really admire this Shannon person, and I think alot of people could learn something from him/her.

There is a certain blogger I read quite a bit that is always blaming his parents for all of his financial woes. I still respect the guy, but at some points I want to slap him and be like WTF are you talking about man grow a pair and evolve already. Harping on the past is lame (I should know) being able to accept things and go forward is so much more entertaining and enlightening.
